Then, Sir Herbert Nigel Gresley (Born: June 19th 1876 – Died: April 5th 1941) was a British Railway Engineer. He was one of Britain's most famous steam locomotive engineers, who rose to become a First LNER’s Chief Mechanical Engineer (CME) an after from (GNR) Great Northern Railway (1911–1922) of the (LNER) London and North Eastern Railway (1923–1922).
He was the Designer of some of The Most Famous Pacific Steam Locomotives in Great Britain;
LNER Pacific Class A3 (after is A1) 4-6-2 No.4472 ‘FLYING SCOTSMAN’, on London to Edinburgh Train Service after which it was named.
LNER Pacific Class A4 [Streamlined] 4-6-2 No.4468 ‘MALLARD’, in World Speed Record of 126mph.
Has so of the LNER Pacific Class A4s are which as scale down named after in style at mixture of the Wildlife Birds, Geographical Region of Countries and Directors of LNER include Chief Mechanical Engineer itself of ‘Sir Nigel Gresley’.
