I stayed at the Tryp CentrO Hotel in Oberhausen for 2 nights in November, 2015. I paid £113 (€160.20) for 2 nights with bed and breakfast. I was in Oberhausen to see a concert at the nearby Konig Pilsener Arena, which is a 3 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is also close to Neue Mitte tram and bus station (which is a 7 minute journey from Oberhausen Hauptbahnhof), and the CentrO shopping centre - Germany's largest indoor shopping mall.

The hotel is a fairly new build, and very modern inside. The staff were all very friendly giving good customer service and speaking perfect English. The room was large and with plenty of space, and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately there were no plug sockets next to the bed, which is something I like for purposes of convenience.

That is literally my only gripe, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, and would use it again if I were visiting Oberhausen again in future.
