One of the many Eastern Airways British Aerospace Jetstream41s in storage at Humberside Airport EGNJ.
Since the airline entered into a partnership with Flybe in 2017 the small UK carrier has lost a massive part of its Scottish market share due to the initial over increase in frequency on its key routes.
This lead to Loganair gaining a much greater foothold on key routes which it has previously competed with Eastern Airways for years.
In turn Eastern has been forced to park a large proportion of its JS41 fleet due to the lack of routes to serve.
I just so happened to be at Humberside when G-MAJZ arrived on the 6th of November on its positioning flight from Aberdeen having not flown a revenue service since August.
This joins many other stored Jetstream 41s also withdrawn over the past year too sadly.
