I get food waste from a local restaurant because my family's food waste isn't enough to keep up with the BSFL's super fast food scrap consumption. These larvae are amazing composters and when they aren done they self-harvest and can be a balanced, organic food source for chickens, fish and reptiles. The soldier fly larvae is my favorite composter.
