Documentary filmmaker Christian J. Pinto interviewed Dr. Scot McKendrick while working on the film, "A Lamp in the Dark: The Untold History of the Bible" back in 2008. Dr. McKendrick was asked to comment on Codex Vaticanus and mentioned that while scholars are told that it is a fourth century manuscript, it does not look like one.
