an all female band from quebec canada who released five singles over a 3-4 year period ('65-'68) plus sharing an album with three other groups released by the 'dsp label' in '67 'les bises/les intrigantes/les miladys'...this track a crude and raw sounding version of 'white rabbit' is sung in a form of creole that makes french speakers at times unable to understand what is being sung! it was released as : La justice(white rabbit)/nous voici (creek alley)' on the 'A1 label' of canada a subsidary of canusa records run by tony roman....the group were : carole boutin/sisters claire & diane gallichard & rounded off by drummer genette douville...i love these unknown and off the wall versions of songs we are so familiar with and another one to add to our growing collection of san francisco related cover versions...boutin also takes a writing credit on la justice!
