I celebrate the birthday of this great composer and my 2000 followers on instagram with this interpretation performed by me (The Ringed Pianist).

Le Rappel des Oiseaux in E minor
Pièces de clavecin (Harpsichord Pieces) (1724 - 1731)
This is a piece which comes from a collection of harpsichord pieces
The title can be translated in several ways in English but we are not sure what Rameau wanted to tell us with this title.
The Birds Recall?
The Reminder of the birds?
The Echo of the birds?
The Gathering of the birds?
One thing is certain, there is a call and almost a chase between birds with their chirps that Rameau manages to do very well with beautiful mordents.
I wanted to give it a more romantic and less agitated touch than other versions.
I love the pieces composed in the Baroque period Especially the pieces Labeled 'compositions for keyboards', because each performance is different based on which instrument is played: organ, harpsichord, piano, etc ... Each instrument enhances its own characteristic.
The title of the video shouldn't be Le Rappel des Oiseaux but Le Rappel Des Hérons, because on the thumbnail of my video there is a beautiful heron.
