Should YOU Buy A Condo In The Philippines?
This is my experience buying and owning my first condo in the Philippines.
Might stack up some more cheaper ones in the future but staying away from ones that scale up to American prices. Especially since I’m from LA, there’s condos here even matching Los Angeles prices which is insane since locals can’t even afford them. Not worth buying an overpriced condo in the Philippines when the returns are so low compared to anywhere else. While cheaper condos are less desirable, they aren't terrible investments and you can definitely make your money back on them given enough time. While small, some are nice and cozy.
You can usually move into them after 4-6 months of payments, or even in some cases immediately after paying the assume price. Just make sure to get the deed of sale the day you arrive and to get your transfer of title asap.
Most sellers usually prefer payments in cash, but In my case, I did half western union while in the states and the final half in cash with a lawyer present.
Another thing I forgot to mention in the video is that, I believe that after paying the portion needed to move in, you can begin renting it out basically having the renters payoff the rest.
Anyways, hope you enjoy the video. This is just my take on this. Just having fun sharing my life.
While mentioning the prices I was a tad sleepy and said K after stating Millions so ignore that.
