Continuing on with Season One of the show - this is Episode Nine from 7th Nov 1974.

And what a fabulous show it is - David Janssen is tailor made for the Harry Orwell role.
He is a retired policeman, after sustaining a shot in his back, now operating as a private detective from his beach house in San Diego.
Henry Darrow stars as his friend and police contact, at least for the first half of series one.
Then, the setting shifted to Los Angeles - probably because of costs from operating in San Diego - and we have a new police contact, with Henry Darrow's character killed off in the crossover.
Many well known faces were to appear in the show - some only once, and others more often, and a few recurring frequently.

Anyway, a very favourite show of mine - with Janssen being one of my all time great actors.
It was a shame when the show only ran for two seasons - but at least it never dipped in quality.

No spoilers for the episodes - just watch and enjoy - and take a trip down memory lane to a time of a truly wonderful TV show.
