There really is nothing better than waking up, walking to the beach, unloading your kayak, and setting off for a full day of EPIC fishing. I've said it before, but the fishing in Panama is great❗️After 5 days of fishing, I thought I had enough but when I got out onto the water the last day, I felt truly grateful to have one more adventure fishing offshore Panama's West coast.

Boy did it turn out to be a good one. The first fish I caught was a 4 foot Roosterfish with beautiful markings. Roosterfish are some of my favorite fish to fight because they put up a good fight but also don't go too crazy -- sometimes you can catch 4-5 good ones in just a few hours. Just hold onto them tight once you get them to the surface, they are slippery! 🤣I got lucky on our final day at Los Buzos and caught a couple Roosterfish that were remarkable. I also caught a few Snapper and we all fished for several hours, just enjoying each other's company and fishing alongside new friends in Panama. A great cap-off to the trip and an unforgettable day on the water.
