In this part, Ryunosuke is told he must start the trial by saying, "I do" to the judge's first question. But this appears to be a trick! The judge's first question is who will be the defense attorney. Ryunosuke doesn't want to defend himself, but he also doesn't want to put his best friend's life ambition in jeopardy. Ryunosuke claims that he will defend himself in the trial.

The judge decides to test Ryunosuke's ability to use the Court Record.
