Today we address the 2024 APEC summit in Peru this week following news of a second Trump administration in the U.S. last week.

1) Steven, let's start off with some basic information about this year's APEC summit including its agenda and attendees.
2) Professor Choi , has the relevance of APEC risen in recent times amid instability within the geopolitical landscape ?
3) Steven, the Yoon administration has used multilateral platforms to direct global focus onto the risks posed by North Korea.
How successful has this strategy been?
4) Professor Choi, what do you believe is the fate of multilateral platforms like APEC under a second Trump administration?
5) Steven, moving forward, there is speculation about a possible summit between President Yoon Suk Yeol and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the APEC summit in Peru.
What may be some issues on their agenda?
6) Steven, do suppose a second Trump administration may serve to push countries here in East Asia towards cooperation?
7) Professor Choi, regarding ties between Seoul and Beijing, South Korea has been included in China's visa-free policy.
Are we looking at a boost in bilateral ties going forward?
