A Delhi court on Wednesday granted bail to Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad, his wife Rabri Devi and son Tejashwi Yadav in the alleged land-for-jobs scam case. Special judge Geetanjali Goel granted them relief after they appeared before the court in pursuance of summons issued against them. Lalu, Rabri and Tejashwi were granted bail on a personal bond of Rs 50,000. The Enforcement Directorate had earlier attached their properties, valued at Rs 6 crore, in relation to a land-for-railway jobs scam case. The alleged scam dates back to the period when Lalu Prasad was the railway minister in the UPA-1 government. All the accused appeared before the Rouse Avenue Court for the hearing.
