Clients sometimes ask me if I do Egoscue/alignment work myself? 😂The answer is - of course.
It takes a bit of work to maintain function and alignment (often not as much as you’d think if you have the right program). But the rewards are worth it!
In my 20s I had pain. In my 40s I have no pain.
And I do all the activities I want - rugby, surfing etc.
I am free to PLAY!
As people get older their sphere of activity often decreases.
Eg: They can’t run, so they cycle.
Then they can’t cycle so they hike.
Then they can’t hike so they walk.
Then they can’t walk without pain etc 🌀
It doesn’t have to be that way. You can turn the spiral around + get back to doing what you love.
Align the body and you can stress the body without problems. But your first step is aligning and restoring function. Then you can get back to doing what you love.
