Three members of parliament from Ukambani are now urging wiper movement leader Kalonzo Musyoka to ditch the cord coalition, accusing opposition Chief Raila Odinga of dishonesty and deceit. Citing Odinga’s assertions during an exclusive interview with citizen TV, the trio says it is clear that Musyoka will not be the coalition’s presidential candidate next year. But as Francis Gachuri reports, their colleagues have rubbished those remarks as selfish and only aimed at attracting president’s Uhuru Kenyatta’s attention ahead of his trip to Ukambani later this month.
