Yesterday, the first spy photos of the next-generation 3 Series sedan prototype were published online, giving us a chance to get an idea of what it will look like.
The most commercially successful lineup of the Bavarian brand dates back to 1975, when the first generation of the "three" with the factory index E21 was released. Today, the seventh generation (G20) is on the production line, which debuted in the fall of 2018. The model received a facelift in the spring of the year before last, and now the first prototypes of the new generation are hitting the roads. It is worth noting that the Bavarians plan to release the "three" in two versions—one with traditional internal combustion engines and a fully electric version, the latter of which will feature an original body with different proportions inspired by the Neue Klasse concept.
