In Guinea and Cote d'Ivoire we call it Riz Gras viande, in Nigeria we call it Jollof Rice,
Ingredients:
1 and ½ kg of cooked beef
2 and ½ kg of broken jasmine rice
625 ml of oil, 250 ml for each kg of rice
For the vegetables, use what you love, I have: cabbage, carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes, cassava and green beans.
I will also add 3 fresh tomatoes, I won’t add tomato paste in this recipe
2 tbsp of mustard
3 small green peppers
A bunch of parsley and basil leaves
Hot peppers to your taste
5 small onions and a head of garlic
For the spices, I will add ginger, paprika, curry powder, dry thym, basil leaves, black peppers and seasoning of your choice and salt
