The X-Files may continue without Gillian Anderson, as series creator Chris Carter is considering a future for the series without the star who plays Dana Scully. "I think that certainly The X-Files has more life in it, there are more stories to tell, with Gillian or without," Carter said in an interview with Digital Spy. Carter went on to note he's "sorry to see her go" and "never actually considered doing this show without her."
