Good morning, everyone! Happy Monday! Tangerines are some of my favourite fruit. Unfortunately, you can't eat them like that, you have to peel them. To peel means to remove the skin from a fruit or a vegetable. So what would you think if someone told you to "keep your eyes peeled"? How can you peel your eyes? No, it's not about a self-inflicting injury, don't worry! The idiom "keep your eyes peeled for something or somebody" means to watch closely and be alert, pay attention to something or somebody. For example, "Keep your eyes peeled for the courier delivery this morning!" or "Keep your eyes peeled for Ana, we are meeting her in a busy place!" That's all I had for your today. Have a great day and a wonderful week, and see you next Monday! Bye-bye!
