The situation across Uttar Pradesh remains tense in the wake of violence in Lucknow and Sambhal, where protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) turned ugly. The violent protests in several parts of Uttar Pradesh have led to the arrest of over 350 people. Internet services have been suspended in 15 districts across the state. Police also said adequate steps have been taken to control any possible violence in the state.
