After Monday night's 2nd versus 3rd clash in the league between Truro City and Bracknell Town, The Seagulls required a win to secure the title. A hat-trick from Marlon Jackson was the main story from the match in the 4-1 win.
An excellent atmosphere once again at the Optima spilled over into a joyous pitch invasion. Shortly after, Club Captain Dayle Grubb got his hands on the trophy and lifted it aloft absolutely drenched in champagne.
On a personal note I would like to thank the club and the fans for welcoming me in the past few matches. I look forward to Saturday's final game of the season away at Salisbury.
