On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Saryu Canal National Project which aims to provide water for irrigation to over 14 lakh hectares of land in order to benefit 29 lakh farmers in Uttar Pradesh.
Speaking at the occasion, PM Modi lashed out at the Opposition and claimed that "their mindset" had stalled work on the key project.
