A melody to help you memorize Haggai 1:2, 5–6:
"This people say, The time is not come, the time that the Lord’s house should be built.
"Now . . . thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways.
"Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes."

For two decades, our family has been setting key scripture texts to original melodies designed to bring out the texts’ meaning and impact. We have written over 300 such songs, and we can attest to the spiritual power they have brought to our lives. Now we are making them available worldwide for use by individuals, parents, and teachers.
The key to learning these scripture songs is repetition. We have found that the following formula generally works: Listen to the same song three times a day, for three different days. For a couple of those times, read along in the text. As the melody begins to become familiar, do your best to sing along.
After learning a scripture song, try to sing it often enough that you retain it (every couple weeks or so should do the trick). Before long, you will find the word of God popping into your head as you go about your day!
