On Monday, September 10, 2018, at 4:18 pm, an unknown black male entered the Rite Aid store located at 5400 Rising Sun Avenue, covering his face with a green colored ski mask, then produced a black/silver handgun and pointed it at the employee. The offender took the employee behind the counter and demanded the cash registers opened. The suspect then took $1100 and fled the store on foot and was last seen west on Lima Street then south on B Street to a waiting dark colored sedan. The vehicle then fled northbound on "B" street from the area. No shots were fired nor were any injuries reported.
Suspect Description: Black male, early 20 years-of-age, stocky build, dark complexion, clean-shaven, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, green ski mask, light colored possibly acid washed blue jeans with a rigid denim pattern at the knees, black and white high-top Vans sneakers, and armed with a handgun.
