Diablo 1 is janky and runs at like 25 fps.... AND ITS AMAZING. Me and a buddy went back, stepped back into 1996 and after a little bit of messing about got Hellfire up and running on LAN. It was an all night retro crack binge. WOULD DO AGAIN!
Positives
- Amazing Atmosphere and music (still the best of the 5 diablo games)
- tons of treasure and spells
- Works on modern systems and the disowned HELLFIRE too!
Negatives
- The quality of Life features of the new games are sorely missed here
- Various obstacles inhibit hellfire multiplayer to LAN (still an option to play classic on bnet)
- cant hit monsters worth a damn until they stop. Annoying.
- massive class unbalance. Warrior sucks compared to sorcerer.
- bnet is a cheaters dream
- only four quick skill buttons and you have to remap them every time
- no custom keys or controller support
