Check out the third vlog in the China Series, where one my best friends, Katie, & I spend the day touring Beijing's Forbidden City & Summer Palace!
There are an endless amount of amazing things to do in Beijing, but the Summer Palace and the Forbidden City are two of the best sites in the city. Both places have amazing history tied to them, especially the Forbidden City, so being able to wander through them is an incredible experience.
As I said in the video, I would highly suggest getting a tour guide to get the best experience you can from Beijing, especially if you aren’t familiar with Mandarin or with the Chinese culture. Tour guides can add a lot of historical context to the things that you are seeing, plus can offer some fun local tips for sites to see or skip and food to eat.
Here is a great option for a tour guide: [ Ссылка ]
