The mighty mountains of Nordmar form a natural and difficult to cross border to the southern neighbor Myrtana. There are two well-known and reasonably safe passes: the first is near Faring Castle, while the second can be reached through the northern forests around Silden.

From here the orcs invaded Myrtana. Further peaks and glaciers rise to the north of these mountain ranges. The largely inanimate, icy wasteland of Nordmar is only broken through by the three large clan villages, snow-covered forests and deep gorges.
