Walking alone again I left Leon for a sixteen mile day. Jeff stayed another night in Leon as he was nursing a cold. Leon and it's suburbs were very large. It took me three hours to get back into the countryside. The morning was cool but as the day progressed it warmed up and it was a pleasant day. Although I thought I was leaving the Meseta, I still was walking in predominantly flat agricultural areas. Around 2PM I found my Alberge for the night and rested up for the next days hike. I had a lovely pilgrims meal with folks from France, Sweden, Germany and South Korea. The food was good and so was the wine.
