Each summer, LGBT Detroit hosts Hotter Than July - Palmer Park, one of the longest running gay pride events in the US. Hotter Than July is a weeks of events aimed at uplifting community members and highlighting the continued need for advocacy on lgbt+ issues. The week culminates in a picnic at Palmer Park where members and allies get together to celebrate the best of Detroit together!
