Hi everyone, please see below a short description of how to reach the throttle body and cleaning process.
To reach the throttle body is really easy. You just remove the air filter and the plastic part from the top of the engine. It is fitted with 4 screws only and underneath you'll find the throttle body.
I used to clean it every 4 to 6 months with carburetor spray and had no problem with the idle. The rev was standing constant at ~500 rpm.
To clean it, just spray in the intake 2-3 times, clean with a toothbrush and cotton cloth, making sure that you don't leave any fluff or drop the toothbrush inside :)).
Do this operation 2-3 times, clean very well inside the body and soak all the liquid inside.
Let the car run for about 20 minutes or just drive it for the same amount of time to ensure that all the liquid inside the throttle body is evaporated.
Following this process, idling should remain constant.
