Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will launch the first part of his three-nation Africa tour on Sunday. His first stop will be Algeria. The trip aims to expand Turkey's presence across the continent and further strengthen trade ties. The Turkish president is expected to discuss economic cooperation and other bilateral issues with the newly elected Algerian president Abdelmadjid Tebboune. Erdogan will also address the conflict in Libya with his Algerian counterpart. After spending two days in Algiers, Erdogan will travel to the Gambia and Senegal.
