With NDuraPlate B and NDuraPlate D, Voith offers a new generation of screen plates that achieve higher pulping and screening efficiencies of up to 30% thanks to their special design characteristics. With NDuraPlate B for pulpers, the quality of the pulp suspension as well as machine productivity are increased. The new bean-shaped perforation provides a working edge that is larger by up to 75%. The new NDuraPlate B hole design means that specific energy consumption is significantly decreased. NDuraPlate D was specifically developed for flat screen machines in screening. The special feature of the screen plate is a lowered hole at the center of the overall pattern in addition to six conventional round holes. Due to the difference in hole heights, the rotor of the flat screen machine creates micro-turbulences on the screen side, keeping holes noticeably clearer.
