A group of Solomon Islanders perform a tattoo ritual while one of their number receives a traditional tattoo at Tisa's Barefoot Bar during the 10th Festival of Pacific Arts in American Samoa. I spoke with one of the men Francis. He said that as long as the tattoo is being given, they must keep singing and dancing. There are 7 "stages" of tattoo. This tattoo was relatively small and given in about 2 hours.
