This plenary session of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine 14th Annual Scientific Meeting showcased innovations in telerehabilitation.
Professor Branko Celler, Project Director of the CSIRO National Telehealth Trial, discussed telehealth services and technologies for the management and rehabilitation of the chronically ill at home.
With an ageing population and growing burden of chronic disease, innovations in telehealth will be vital to improving patient care and reducing healthcare costs.
This Project has been funded by the Department of Health under the Rural Health Continuing Education Sub-program (RHCE) Stream One which is managed by the Committee of Presidents of Medical Colleges.
