The place we are going to visit today is Tenerife Horse Rescue aka Sustainable Animal Sanctuary. It's based in the south of Tenerife and is run by a community. It's a group of international volunteers who dedicate their time and love to help vulnerable and abandoned animals. The sanctuary was founded in 2018 by a couple - Emma and Edo. It's a non government organization which helps all kind of animals and is solely funded by private donations. The place is built in the middle of the desert using waste materials as they are trying to be sustainable on every step they take.
