If the pipes needing joined form a 90 degree angle or turn and both ends have smooth ends, you would use a 90° slip (or slip x slip) elbow. Schedule 40 PVC 90 ° ells are designed to turn the flow of a liquid at a 90-degree angle. Both pipe ends are glued into the ell, forming a 90° turn or joint.

All of our Schedule 40 fittings are NSF rated 14 & 61, which means they are certified for use with potable (drinking) water. Maximum temperature is 140°F.
