One of the scariest things about becoming a composer is feeling like you’re not making something that’s “good enough”. It’s a feeling you have from the very first track you write and you’re nervous to put anything out there because it doesn’t sound like everything else you hear people making. Just like anything else you try to learn, making music for video games is a process and failure is probably the most important part of it. I’ve made tons of mistakes in the music I’ve made up to this point and I know I’ll make more but i know that means I’ll get to learn a little more and improve my skills. “The greatest teacher, failure is.”
