April is Reentry Month in NC -- a time to highlight efforts to assist formerly incarcerated individuals with a smooth transition back into their communities. We continue to support this critical work by expanding our work in jails this year- more and more facilities are requesting our services, leading us to hundreds of conversations about eligibility, voter registration events with voters who are in detention facilities, and sharing best practices on how to request a ballot from jail.

You can register at your address outside of jail OR you can use the jail as your address. You must use a physical address as your residency on the registration form.

You can request an absentee ballot to vote from jail. Fill out ballot and mail by Election Day to make it count!
Vote by Mail - [ Ссылка ]
When you complete your time for a felony conviction, including probation and parole, you are eligible to vote in North Carolina! You will need to re-register once you complete all the terms of your sentence.
