Trial run crushing some Maris Otter Pale Malt. Malt mill is the Mash Master from Australia. The stainless steel hopper was made to my design by my mate Eliot as was the motor/mill coupler. The motor is from China and should be powering a disability scooter! It's 24 volt but I'm running it at 12 volts so that it runs at half speed. The 12 volt transformer is also from China and should be used to control lighting. The wooden box it all sits on was designed and built by me with 18mm plywood cut by my good mate Rob. My mate Lav did the wiring and made a lovely job of it. Well chuffed, a great group effort by a lot of my mates! Thanks guys!
