This is a continuation of a previous video which used kinetic sand as a medium for casting pewter in press molds or single part molds. I wanted to test if the sand would hold up to being used in a two part mold - here I am using a commercial version but it is very easy to make your own out of scrap wood. The process worked! The kinetic sand requires a softer touch than delft clay but it is also easier to clean off the finished piece and your work surface.
