"In the Fade" follows Katja (Diane Kruger) and how her life collapses after the death of her husband and son in a bomb attack. After the time of mourning and injustice, comes the time of revenge. Directed by Fatih Akin, the film was selected as Germany’s official submission to the Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film, and awarded the Best Actress Prize at the Cannes Film Festival for Diane Kruger.
