A key advisor to the London mayor is set to recommend changes to the city's street design to make cycling safer.
Peter Murray, who is on Boris Johnson's design advisory group, has been gathering evidence from 40 cities around the world.
The street design architect, whose friend was one of six cyclists killed in London during a two-week period last month, said a radical change in infrastructure was needed.
His final report is due to be published next week.
