Sergey Pudovkin. - Vitas is an international phenomenon. I am very glad that he has become a stable, firm and beautiful bridge between Russia and China. Russia and China should be closer to each other.
Sergey Pudovkin. - You should watch the concert and see people's emotions, perception of the audience. Yesterday, when Vitas was singing "Tibetan Plateau" in Xinjiang, the whole audience rose up to their feet and started to sing along. It was very impressive. Right now Vitas is a social phenomenon. By this I mean the statue in Guangzhou dedicated to Vitas, large-scale tours. I am proud and happy because the Chinese audience is very fastidious and demanding in their affections. It is a great honour for us to win recognition in this culture, from these people who treat themselves and their culture with great respect."

From April, 24 to May, 8 the Chinese part of Vitas' World Tour 2009 "Sleepless Night" took place in 9 cities of China with great success.

VITAS as a singer and songwriter has been known on Russian stage since 2000. Today Vitas is an artist who has gained popularity outside of Russia as well. His performances took place in the most prestigious and greatest halls.

He has filmed 7 movies and 15 music videos, released 25 CDs and presented 7 concert shows. Possessing a unique vocal range of 5 octaves, Vitas is capable to perform brilliantly vocal pieces of different music genres.
