Genrietta Fedorova who was born in Simferopol in 1939, recounts how in December 1941 her Jewish grandmother, with Genrietta in her arms, was taken along with other Jews to be shot at an anti-tank trench located in Dubky. Fedorova recounts how at the last minute her grandmother saved her by handing her over to a local doctor who happened to see the Jews being taken to the murder site.
