Farsi Friday is where I demonstrate a new Farsi word/phrase.
This week we are covering clothing terms related to what we wear throughout the different seasons:
Head: Sar
Face: Soorat
Chin: Chooneh
Mouth: Dahan
Teeth: Dandoon (or Dandann)
Lip: Lab
Nose: Damaagh
"gh" sound- like the sound effect when "drinking water"
Eye: Cheshm
Eyebrow: Abroo
Hair: Moo
Ear: Goosh
Earring: Goosh-vareh
Neck: Gardan
Necklace: Gardan-band
Ring: Angoshtar (or Halveh)
Finger: Angosht
Hand: Dast
Glove: Dast-kesh
Verb: To Have
I have: Daaram
I have green eyes: Cheshmeh sabz daaram
Green: Sabz
He/She has: Daareh
They have: Daaran (or formal)
We have: Dareem
