"Well, the idea is Santa Lucia parade is something that allows us to bring people together during December, which is the most dark month of the year. And Santa Lucia is kind of a hope, you know, it means hope, it means light. And in the end, it gives us the chance to bring people together and that's what we love to do."

"As you can see, they will come, they will light up the kayaks. They will dress up like Santa Claus or whatever they feel like, put on a lot of lights. And then we're going to start paddling around the canals, the main canals in Copenhagen. We're going to go to Nyhavn, then we're going to Christianshavns, Hojbro Plads, we're coming back to Kayak Bar. And what we do, in each stop we sing different songs, mainly Santa Lucia, but also different songs as well. And then, well, basically, we just have a moment together, reflection moment. And then we leave all the, you know, you leave dark times, some people are very divided and kind of very dramatic everywhere. We have in this day of the year to see that there is light, there is hope, and whatever we need to overcome, we will."
