In this tutorial I show you how to make easy farm animal fondant cake toppers, which include a pig, chicken, horse, cow and sheep. While I was searching for my next video tutorial, I came across a farm animal cake I made almost 10 years ago (see photo here [ Ссылка ]). I thought the farm animals would be great to share, especially for beginners. The design is very simple but still very cute ☺️

All the farm animal cake toppers are made with modelling paste - see recipe below. Modelling paste is very important as it holds the shape of the figurine. Plain fondant is too soft.

MODELLING PASTE RECIPE
・ 500g fondant
・ 1 - 2 tsp CMC (because every fondant is different, try with 1 tsp first then adjust accordingly)
Mix together and leave for 1 - 2 hours before use, because when time goes by the fondant paste will become firmer. I recommend mixing 1 teaspoon of CMC first, and if the paste is too soft gradually add a little bit more to the fondant. Don't put too much CMC as it will be hard to use. This paste is good for making figurines and cake decorations, but is too soft to make delicate sugar flowers.

처음에는 1작은술을 넣고 한시간 정도 기다렸다가 패이스트의 상태에 따라 CMC를 더 넣을지 결정하세요. 시간이 지날 수록 더 단단해 지기 때문에 처음부터 많이 넣으면 딱딱해서 사용하기가 힘들어요
