Here's a quick sound demo featuring this outstanding Wilkins Road Tested WRTJ4 Cayenne J Bass. Cayenne stands for Roasted or Torrified.
This bass has a roasted Alder body, dark roasted maple fretboard and a roasted maple neck. Audere JZ preamp, Hipshot hardware.
Bass was recorded direct through an A-designs Audio REDDI and a Universal Audio 2-1176, into Logic Audio via an Apogee Duet.
The bass had both pickups on and the preamp set to its "flat" setting.
I also used Tsunami cables and DR Strings.
