Demi Vollering from The Netherlands ran into quite some issues on the 2021 UCI Women Road World Championships in Flanders, Belgium.

Here you see her putting in a nuclear acceleration, cutting through the backmarkers on the Smeysberg in Huldenberg, after having had to put a foot down because of a mechanical.
For reference, this is on the 12 - 13% gradient, just before hitting the steepest 16% part of the climb.

This and 2 consecutive punctures made her top 10 finish an achievement in itself, ... What if ...?
