Governance, Institutional Capacity and bloated organisation seems to be a pattern in different local and metropolitan municipalities across the country. This is according to Deputy Minister of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs Parks Tau, who led the District Development Model Ministerial Outreach programme held at Rustenburg, in North West. The programme was attended by the North West's provincial and municipal leadership, along with key stakeholders, to collaboratively tackle challenges identified in both the State of Local Government and Auditor General reports.
